When it comes to recovering, the frame underneath almost always tells the story. If it is solid hardwood, it is worth doing properly: new springs or webbing as needed, new foam, and a cover cut and sewn to the piece rather than pulled over what was already there.

We price the work in front of us, so we are sometimes the cheaper quote and sometimes not. A quote well under the wholesale cost of proper materials has usually skipped a step.
