New webbing to stop the seat sinking and give firm, even support.

Almost always, yes. A sagging seat usually means the webbing or springs have gone, not that the sofa is worn out. We rebuild the support with new webbing and springs so it sits firm and even again.
Rewebbing replaces the woven support straps under the seat; respringing replaces or re-ties the springs. Both are what hold your shape and comfort. When they fail the seat sinks, and rebuilding them is a straightforward, cost-effective fix.
Usually much cheaper to repair, if the frame is sound. Rebuilding the support and foam of a good piece costs a fraction of buying new furniture of the same quality, and keeps a piece you like.

Yes, loose joints, cracked rails and wobbly legs are common repairs for us, and a solid frame is exactly what makes a piece worth keeping. We reglue, dowel or reinforce the timber so the structure is sound before any padding or fabric goes back on.
It depends on the frame. If the timber is solid the repair is usually worthwhile, but with lightweight particleboard frames we will tell you honestly if a repair will not hold, rather than take on a job that will not last.
Yes, a foam-only refresh is one of the most cost-effective repairs we do, and it can make an older seat feel firm and comfortable again. We use fire-grade foam matched to how you actually sit on the piece.
